In the fall of 2023, eligible graduate student employees voted 314-11 in favor of unionization. Å®Óźϼ¯ and AGWA/Å®Óźϼ¯W began collective bargaining negotiations in January 2024, resulting in a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) covering graduate student employees across Å®Óźϼ¯â€™s three universities. 

The current CBA expires December 31, 2026. Å®Óźϼ¯ and AGWA/Å®Óźϼ¯W began bargaining for a successor agreement on September 18, 2026. Negotiations are ongoing and will continue until the parties reach an agreement.
