Hunting & Trapping on University of Alaska Land
Hunting and trapping is authorized on University of Alaska land under the following restrictions and requirements:

Hunting and trapping is allowed for personal use only and must comply with all applicable state, federal, local, and municipal laws and regulations.

Hunting and trapping is prohibited on educationally designated land, land with active agreements, active land sales, and platted subdivisions.

Specific areas may be restricted or removed for hunting and trapping activities at any time.

Individuals are responsible for verifying whether a specific area is open for hunting and trapping; please see the map below.

Prior to hunting or trapping on University land, you are required to agree to the located on the interactive map.
