Following a competitive national search, Kevin W. Alexander has been appointed as the permanent dean of the University of Alaska Fairbanks Community and Technical College. A lifelong Alaskan, Alexander has been a dedicated member of the 女优合集F CTC community for more than 21 years, most recently serving as the college's interim dean. Alexander was previously a professor and director of aviation programs. His record of experience working across industry and in the classroom is consistent with the mission of CTC, which is to prepare graduates for the workforce and to provide community-driven education.
As a former small business owner and skilled tradesman, Alexander brings first-hand understanding of the challenges facing Alaska鈥檚 workforce and the essential professions that CTC supports.
With deep ties to Fairbanks and the Interior, Alexander is committed to expanding educational opportunities, strengthening rural access, and advancing high-quality career and technical education for all Alaskans. His connection to the region is further reinforced by his family鈥檚 active engagement in local sectors, including transportation, education, the military and the essential trades.
