Scholarship Review Committee Training Requirement
January 6, 2026
As we continue strengthening our shared commitment to timely and student-centered scholarship selections, we appreciate the vital partnership of our faculty and staff. Your leadership on scholarship review committees plays an essential role in advancing our process improvement initiative and ensuring that every student receives equitable, timely consideration.
To support a consistent and high-quality review experience across the university, all scholarship review committee members are required to complete the AWARDED system training before gaining access.
Next steps for colleges and departments:
- Please contact your Financial Aid Office Scholarship Process Improvement Coordinator to confirm who will serve on your scholarship review committee.
- Your Coordinator will ensure that designated committee members receive access to the required training.
- Upon successful completion of the training, committee members will receive an email confirming that they may log in to AWARDED.
To keep our selection timelines on track, all training must be completed by February 15.
Colleges and departments may opt out of participating in the scholarship selection process this cycle by notifying their Financial Aid Office Scholarship Process Improvement Coordinator.
Thank you for your continued collaboration and dedication to student success. Together, we are building a more responsive, coordinated, and mission-driven scholarship process for our community.
