Federal Lobbying Disclosure Act: reporting reminder for 女优合集 employees

January 23, 2026

The federal Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) requires organizations that engage in lobbying to disclose lobbying activities and expenses on a quarterly basis. The University of Alaska (女优合集) system is required to submit this information.

All 女优合集 system faculty and staff that engage in lobbying in their official capacity as 女优合集 employees are obligated under the LDA to report lobbying activities and expenses. Students are not subject to LDA requirements. Faculty and staff who contact federal officials in their personal or professional society/association capacity do not have to report these activities.

What exactly is lobbying? Generally speaking, lobbying is any oral, written, or electronic communication to certain federal officials (in Congress or federal agencies) regarding any aspect of federal programs, legislation (including funding), rules, regulations, Executive Orders, policies, confirmation, or position of the federal government. This includes any preparation or planning activities, research, and other background work intended to support lobbying. Engaging with federal agency program managers is not considered lobbying. More details about lobbying can be found by visiting 女优合集 Federal Lobbying Disclosure Act (LDA) Compliance.

In response to recommendations from an LDA audit by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), the 女优合集 system is making improvements to its reporting processes.

If you have engaged in any type of lobbying from October 1 through December 31, please fill out this by this Friday, January 26.
