Travel Awards

Alaska EPSCoR offers periodic funding opportunities for faculty, staff, or students at an Alaska institution of higher education who are participants or partners of the Interface of Change project, or whose work is closely aligned with the Interface of Change mission and vision. We will prioritize awarding student and early-career professional applicants.

Grants may be used for domestic travel only for conferences, workshops, trainings, or other appropriate academic settings. Under the current Alaska EPSCoR project, Interface of Change, our goal is to fund at least 3 travel awards per year, depending on available funds.

Travel Award Recipient NSF Reporting Requirements:  Within 15 days of completion of travel or event, awardee must submit a brief (1 page maximum) summary report and relevant photo outlining the purpose of the participation, the nature of the event, and how it benefited the awardee and the University of Alaska.
